FAQ - Fall Ball
Are there age limits for the divisions?
Yes. There are NO Fall Ball options available for players who were league-age 4-6 in the spring. No exceptions are made per district guidelines.
What is the cost to play Fall Ball?
The Fall Ball fee is $110 as of 2024. (Fees are subject to change.)
When does Fall Ball registration end?
Registration ends on August 11. Please note that divisions may close earlier depending on team availability.
What are the season dates for Fall Ball?

Practices: Begin as soon as teams are formed and coaches are cleared, typically around September 1.

Games: Start after Labor Day and run through early October.
What teams will SCLL play against?
Teams from other Little Leagues within District 1, though the exact matchups may vary from year to year.
When will the games be scheduled?
The game schedule is set by District 1 officials. A complete schedule should be available by the end of August.
What team will my child be on?
Teams will be formed by September 1. We strive to create evenly matched teams to ensure a fun and competitive experience.
What do the players wear for uniforms?
SCLL provides a jersey and hat for each player. Families will need to supply pants, a belt, and socks. Further details will be shared by the team’s manager.
When are practices held?
Typically 1-2 weeknight practices per week, based on the manager’s schedule.
Why is my child playing different positions than before?
Fall Ball is focused on player development, with the goal of giving all players experience in multiple positions to help grow their skills.
Is coaching help needed?
Yes! We welcome volunteers to help manage or assist with coaching. See our 'Volunteer Opportunities' page for more info.
How can parents help beyond coaching?
There are plenty of ways to contribute! From field prep and umpiring to scorekeeping and dugout cleanup, parent volunteers are essential to making the season run smoothly. Managers can’t do it alone, so please get involved!
