READ ALL OF THE INFORMATION BELOW PRIOR TO REGISTERING
TEAM ROSTERS WILL NOT BE RELEASED UNTIL ALL REQUIREMENTS ARE COMPLETE.
All coaches are required to obtain the same level of qualification.
The reason for this is simple: SAFETY. In the absence of a coach, other coaches will be able to provide qualified care.
To qualify for consideration as a coach, you are required to upload the following items during registration:
- Valid Driver's License
- Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certificate (approx. 30 min.) (valid for 3 years from date of completion)
- Concussion in Sports Certificate (approx. 45 min.) (valid for 1 year from date of completion)
- Protecting Students from Abuse Certificate (approx. 45 min.) (valid for 1 year from date of completion)
- Valid CPR & First Aid Certificate (approx. 25 min.) (valid for 2 years from date of completion)
- Photo for ID Badge (clear photo showing only YOUR face & shoulders, NO sunglasses)
You will also be required to accept and sign the Coaches Code of Conduct and complete a background check.

Coaches are required to save their own certificates. The league does not save your documents from year to year.
DO NOT upload invalid documents. Failure to upload valid forms will only delay your application and may cause your team to start the season late. The volunteer who certifies all coach applications/certifications is NOT required to go out of their way to make sure you can coach. Coaching is a privilege, not a right.
All certificates and documents must remain valid until the end of the coaching season you are registering for.
- For Spring ball, your document/certificate should not expire before June 30.
- For Fall ball, your document/certification should not expire before October 31.
Upon completion of registration you will receive a background check from JDP at your registered email address. Complete your background check within 2 weeks or the link will expire.
ASAP PLAN: As a coach, it is your responsibility to read and understand the information contained in the league's "A Safety Awareness Program". It is on the website under SAFETY> ASAP SAFETY MANUAL.
PHOTO ID BADGE: As a coach, your Photo ID badge must be worn and visible at all practices and games.

In addition to Registering as a coach with SCLL, you also need to complete the Coaches Application.
