Coach Registration Checklist
Complete the steps below to become an approved coach.
Both Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches must complete Volunteer Registration.
Step 2 — Complete Required Certifications
Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certification
Approx. 30 minutes • Valid for 3 years
Free training through NFHS, reputable, used by other sports leagues.

Approx. 45 minutes • Valid for 1 year
Free training through NFHS, reputable, used by other sports leagues.

Abuse Awareness Training
Approx. 45 minutes • Valid for 1 year
Little League International mandates that this specific training is required.
Do not do the NFHS Abuse Training, we will not accept it.

CPR & First Aid Certification
Approx. 25 minutes • Valid for 2 years
This Certification is economical, you may choose any CPR & First Aid Certification so long as it provides a certificate with expiry date.

Certification Validity Requirements
Spring Season: Certifications must be valid through June 30
Fall Season: Certifications must be valid through October 31
Save copies of your certificates. The system does not retain uploaded documents from previous years.
